We also acknowledge our obligation to prevent or minimise pollution during our normal activities, and to minimise the environmental impact in the event of abnormal activities.

These obligations inform every aspect of our operations and activities. Specifically, our activities include the management of merchandise and associated storage, including the choice of subcontractors for the production. We also undertake to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations relating to health, safety and the environment.

Our key environmental objectives as an individual company are:

• Compliance with all legal requirements
• Minimising waste during all aspect of the firm’s operations recycling or disposal of waste by the most environmentally responsible methods
• Maintaining the visual appearance of the environment
• Make preferential use of suppliers and contractors which can demonstrate commitment to achieving best environmental practice

These are our environmental targets and objectives. We carry out regular reviews to ensure that these targets and objectives are met, and improvements identified.

Consideration to the reusability and recyclability of products supplied by Everything Corporate Ltd

We encourage the reusability of merchandise products to protect the resources of the planet and to reduce the energy expended on creating new stocks. In tandem with this we have been pro-actively working with our clients to look at ways to reduce or eradicate the need for recycling merchandise we hold in stock.

How environmental standards and associated protections are embedded into sourcing activity

As an outsource company, we work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we are working with companies that embrace a similar culture of environment first.

Supplier performance is controlled through our purchasing activities where we constantly monitor what is happening within our supply-chain. The standards we follow for the environment stipulates the importance of our suppliers matching the high standards we expect as a business. All accreditation issues are addressed by us who perform regular compliance reviews. The suppliers are monitored on a job-by-job basis and the results collated for our suppliers to review and improve in areas they have not scored so well on.

We actively encourage suppliers to improve their environment performance on an ongoing basis.

Everything Corporate Ltd and responsible sourcing marks with any products

As an environmentally aware company, we actively encourage the use of responsible sourcing marks. The most common of these with merchandise products are the FSC and PEFC timber (and paper pulp) marks.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)

FSC promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are sustainably managed.

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification)

The PEFC Council also promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third-party certification. The PEFC logo provides an assurance to purchasers of wood and paper products that they are promoting this cause. We are able to provide evidence to clients to ensure that purchased material originates from a certified source. Purchasing procedures exist to ensure that the purchased material is covered by a valid Chain of Custody certificate
